Job Title : Boomi Technical Consultant(Agent Studio) - Bangalore India
Job Profile : Principal Systems Development Engineer
Overview: This position is part of the GTO Shared Services team which provides specialized technical strategic and operational support to the Global Presales Organization to drive a high-performing and scalable sales function. This role has a specific focus on our AI-based initiatives particularly leveraging Boomi Agent AI Studio. The successful candidate will support our global sales team through opportunity qualification AI solution builds demonstrations technical presentations AI-centric PoCs and technical enablement sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build innovative AI-driven solutions and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) using Boomis Agent AI Studio aligning customer business challenges with the platforms AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with global field solution engineers and presales teams to convert complex business needs into tangible AI-powered demonstrations.
- Own the technical design and validation of solution blueprints that integrate AI capabilities with Boomis broader suite including Integration & Automation API Management and Data Management.
- Provide strategic technical leadership for account solution planning bid responses and Integration/AI-focused PoC efforts.
- Partner with presales and technical sales teams to shape solution narratives deliver technical proposals and co-design Integration/AI solution architectures.
- Evangelize best practices for prompt engineering LLM orchestration and applied AI use cases like summarization classification enrichment and conversational flows.
- Drive creation of reference architectures reusable demos and accelerators that streamline solutioning for future AI/Integration opportunities.
- Lead technical workshops and architecture reviews with global presales teams offering guidance on advanced Integration/AI scenarios.
- Support early-stage deal cycles by assessing technical feasibility risks and delivery considerations for AI-centric engagements.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 814 years of total IT experience with demonstrable architectural ownership across technical domains.
- 23 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development with exposure to generative AI services (e.g. OpenAI Azure OpenAI Hugging Face) LLM orchestration platforms (e.g. LangChain Boomi Agent AI Studio) and application of NLP models for tasks like summarization classification and chat flows.
- Understanding of prompt engineering Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and real-world enterprise use cases of LLMs.
- Strong Python programming skills with experience using relevant AI/ML libraries such as Transformers spaCy or LangChain.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with integration architecture presales solutioning and technical consulting is desirable. Experience with the Boomi platformincluding design deployment and best practicesis a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with integration endpoints such as Salesforce NetSuite Oracle Fusion SAP Workday ServiceNow Kafka and file/database systems is desirable.
- Working knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs JSON and scripting languages such as Groovy or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP a plus) particularly for deploying AI services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience in customer-facing engagements such as technical discovery design reviews or presales proof-of-concepts is highly desirable.
