PRONIAs programs focus on direct service delivery including counselling information provision and crisis intervention community education as well on the delivery of specialist services in aged care disabilities family and childrens programs. What you will be doing
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer the General Manager Clinical Operations & Service Delivery provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of PRONIAs clinical and care programs including Support at Home (SaH) Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and other grant-funded services.
In this pivotal role you will:
Lead the preparation and execution of the Aged Care Reforms Audit.
Provide clinical leadership across home and community care programs/services.
Ensure compliance and effective implementation of reforms across SaH and CHSP.
Oversee workflows conduct gap analyses and manage implementation workplans.
Identify and develop new revenue streams aligned with aged care reforms.
Implement and monitor a Clinical Governance Framework across all care services.
Maintain and oversee the SaH & CHSP clinical risk registers ensuring timely mitigation of identified risks.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives based on service performance feedback and audit outcomes.
Implement and support the Participant Centred Care Advisory Group to guide service design and improvement.
Provide strategic and operational clinical leadership to allied health professionals.
Ensure all clinical and allied health staff operate within a safe compliant and well-defined framework of care
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of care and clinical staff to deliver integrated and high-quality care.
Uphold compliance with legislative and company standards by maintaining all required filings and records.
Provide meaningful reporting on clinical quality risk and performance to the CEO and Board.
This is a senior executive position with significant responsibility for ensuring the highest standards of care compliance and strategic growth across PRONIAs services.
Role Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Nursing or a relevant clinical discipline (essential).
Current registration with AHPRA (e.g. RN Allied Health)
Postgraduate qualifications in Health Management Aged Care or Clinical Governance (desirable).
710 years of senior leadership experience in clinical operations aged care community care or healthcare.
Proven experience in clinical governance audits and risk management.
Strong understanding of aged care reforms funding models (SaH CHSP) and regulatory compliance.
Exceptional leadership decision-making and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement.
Mandatory Requirements
Current registration with AHPRA (e.g. RN Allied Health)
National Criminal History Record Check (current)
Not subject to any Employee Screening or Banning Orders under relevant legislation.
