You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailPosition is responsible for fulfilling international orders by arranging inventory in the most space-efficient way accurately and efficiently following specific customer or country level requirements and ensuring goods have met Flukes standard of quality inspection. Must be detail oriented and carefully check for all special customer or product considerations as they relate to exporting goods. Some contact with carriers and freight forwarders may be required.
Responsibilities:
Build packaging for shipment using assigned methods boxes and bulks for export
Accurately pack according to customer subsidiary or supplier orders
Ensures all packages meet warehouse standards after packing; no visible damage boxes securely closed address labels affixed and not obstructed
Must pay close attention to label requirements for fragile or dangerous goods for export
Operates computer and scanners using customer database
Ensure packaged orders are placed in correct area for outbound shipment processing
Maintain organization and cleanliness in designated work area
Follows all safety protocols
Qualifications:
High school diploma / GED
Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
Position requires standing for an 8-hour or longer shift
Flexibility to work overtime
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
Strong communication skills
Must work effectively with team members
