You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailSenior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.:532965) to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a Bachelors degree in Social Work Psychology Social Sciences or other related disciplines with three years post-qualification experience; or a Masters degree in the above fields with one years post-qualification experience. They should have high proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese) skills in analytical evaluation and generation of practical solutions and the ability to work independently and as a team player. Those with post-qualification work experience in social sciences research projects and knowledge of data analysis are highly preferred. The appointees will join the JC JoyAge Project to assist the Project Director and the Project Managers in managing coordinating and implementing research activities for elderly mental health services overseeing data collection drafting reports and performing other relevant tasks assigned. Occasional support for the Projects publicity events is expected.
The appointees will have ample opportunities to work with Clinical Psychologists Social Workers other mental health professionals and various stakeholders in the local community. Applicants with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered Research Assistant I.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
