Field-Based Doors Engineer
What You Will Do
As a Field-Based Doors Engineer youll service install and repair door systems across the UK. Youll work in diverse environmentsschools retail spaces warehouses manufacturing sites and residential buildingsensuring safe compliant and high-quality outcomes. Youll contribute to our Zero Harm culture and support team performance through technical excellence and excellent customer service.
How You Will Do It
- Service install repair and fault-find on a range of door systems
- Apply risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe working practices
- Use electrical knowledge to support diagnostics and repairs
- Complete service reports and handover documentation accurately
- Collaborate with planning and operations to manage workload and priorities
- Deliver a first-class customer experience through problem-solving and clear communication
- Participate in the Out-of-Hours (OOH) call-out rota as required

What Were Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience servicing repairing and installing door systems
- Strong communication and relationship skills
- Reliable self-motivated able to work independently and in a team
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and stay overnight
- Familiarity with safe systems of work and PPE usage
Preferred:
- Intermediate to advanced fault-finding and commissioning skills
- Health & Safety certifications (IPAF PASMA competency card)
- Electrical qualification
- Ability to read technical drawings and manage complex installations
- Basic computer skills (Word Excel PDF) for reports
