What Youll Be Doing
The Consultant Physical Security will be part of the Enterprise Physical Security team within Corporate Security and accountable for supporting the delivery of the physical security risk assessment framework and overall program. The Consultant Physical Security is responsible for supporting risk assessment related activities; including supporting the development and ongoing updates of CIBCs Physical Security Policies Standards and Guidelines to ensure known risks are sufficiently mitigated in line with CIBCs risk appetite and evolving threat landscape. This involves the development and maintenance of tools (e.g. SharePoint databases websites MS Office templates) the development of management reporting materials and supporting the development of risk assessments and other related initiatives. The position also contributes to the ongoing design maintenance and cost effectiveness of the overall Enterprise Physical Security Program recognizing the increasing importance of the management of risk in the environments in which CIBC operates.

How Youll Succeed
Stakeholder Relationships Support Physical Security relationships with various stakeholders both internal and external driving the Corporate Security agenda forward by collaboration. You will be a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the organization by understanding their needs delivering insights and working together on a solution.
Improving Process Efficiency Identify develop and implement routine operational process enhancements to increase the teams efficiency.
Risk Assessment/Remediation Work closely with stakeholders to support overall risk assessment and associated risk remediation activities in alignment with CIBCs physical security risk assessment framework.
Risk Consulting Support initiatives related to physical security consultations due-diligence or advice to LOB partners taking an all-hazards risk approach.
