Summary





King county Road Services Division is looking for aCapital Project Manager to lead and support the planning design review and delivery of roads facilities capital projects valued at up to $5 million (combined). Projects may include repairs to buildings construction of auxiliary structures or other projects related to facilities. This position will manage all phases of project development from scoping through implementation while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and in alignment with County standards.The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills technical proficiency and a commitment to continuous learning adaptability and high performance in a fast-paced public infrastructure environment. WORK SCHEDULE:
Thework week is normally Monday through Friday 7:00a.m. to 3:30 p.m. but may at times require work outside of normal business hours. This position is Exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

EMERGENCY DESIGNATION STATUS:
Non-Mission Critical:Employees who staff county functions or services that may be delayed suspended or diverted in an emergency while essential functions are prioritized Mission Critical.

UNION MEMBERSHIP:
This position is represented by PROTEC17.


TELEWORKING REQUIREMENT:
This is a hybrid position. The work associated with this position will be performed by teleworking onsite work and attending meetings as needed. The responsibilities of this position willinclude regular and ongoing in-office work.

Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees mustresidein Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.

Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop and mustmaintaina workspace with an internet connection(access may be supplemented in some situations)where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours.
