Job Title: Project ManagerLocation: Tempe AZ - Hybrid (minimum of 2 days onsite per week)
Type: Long-Term Contract
As a Project Manager you will lead projects from initiation through completion ensuring technology and business goals are met. The Project Manager oversees planning execution and delivery while maintaining alignment with organizational practices. Success in this role comes from strong leadership proactive problem solving and effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Were looking to find someone with experience across different types of projects (software hardware infrastructure different business areas etc.)
Your role:
- Develop and maintain project plans including scope schedule and budget.
- Lead project execution across business and technology teams to deliver desired outcomes.
- Manage risks and issues identify alternatives and drive resolution strategies.
- Collaborate with sponsors governance and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Oversee vendor contributions and ensure quality timely deliverables.
- Apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to project needs.
- Maintain compliance with organizational practices while fostering teamwork and accountability.
- Anticipate challenges and take initiative to prevent delays or disruptions.
What youve got:
- 10 years of experience managing IT projects.
- Background in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across business and IT.
- Ability to navigate complex issues build consensus and implement solutions.
- Leadership style that drives results while supporting a positive team culture.
- Strong time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Ability to build trust and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Willingness to contribute hands-on when needed in addition to leading.
- Proficiency with project and office tools such as MS Office MS Project Jira and DevOps.
