The position
As aData Engineer Databricksat agap2 you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. Key Responsibilities
As aData Engineerto joining a project focused on building a robust scalable and compliant data landscape for a cutting-edge Retail Media platform. This platform supports both US and European markets and is central to delivering actionable insights and advanced KPI reporting for strategic decision-making. As part of theReporting team you will play a key role in the development and implementation of cross-platform metrics establishing a Databricks foundation and enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Design build and test scalable data pipelines onDatabricks(CI/CD Delta Lake).
- Develop deliver and document KPI metrics such asROAS (Return on Advertising Spend).
- Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data feed deliveries.
- Define schemas and model tables for a standardized metric layer.
- Ensure delivery of data feeds and insights to stakeholders in the US and EU regions.
- Conduct workshops create documentation and participate in knowledge transfer sessions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning review retrospectives) and follow biweekly sprint cycles.
What you bring to the position
- Proven experience as aData Engineer with a strong focus onDatabricksand scalable pipeline development.
- Expertise inDelta Lake architecture CI/CD best practices and working in cloud-based environments (e.g.Azure).
- Experience with advanced KPI reporting and data modeling.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to serve as atechnical sparring partnerfor engineers and scientists.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies particularlyScrum.
