As an AWS Sales Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology.
Your responsibilities will include building and managing a highly talented sales team focused on driving revenue adoption and market penetration in Enterprise and SMB market. The candidate should possess a sales management background that enables them to lead a team of sale representatives with engagements at the CXO level.
AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue adoption and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Drive revenue and market share in a defined region.
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
- Hire and build out an enterprise and smb sales team.
- Develop and execute against a regional sales plan.
- Accelerate customer adoption.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
- Manage contract negotiations.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
- Expect moderate travel.

- 10 years of technology related sales business development or equivalent experience
- 5 years of sales management experience
- Experience in management of large complex enterprise accounts or equivalent
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
