Job Description
GE Aerospace is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect (AWS) to support its enterprise data transformation journey. The architect will design develop and implement scalable cloud-based data architectures ensuring data quality integration and governance across the organization.
Responsibilities
-
Design and implement enterprise data architectures leveraging AWS services (Redshift RDS S3 Glue Lambda Athena SageMaker).

Conduct assessments of existing data systems identify gaps and create roadmaps for a unified enterprise data model.
-
Define and enforce data standards governance and best practices.

Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
-
Support AI/ML initiatives by ensuring data readiness and architecture scalability.

Provide guidance to development teams and review architectural compliance.
Required Skills
-
8 years in Enterprise Data Architecture and data modeling.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud data services.

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL MongoDB Cassandra).

Proficiency with data modeling tools (ERwin ER/Studio PowerDesigner Sparx EA).

Deep understanding of data lifecycle management governance and integration principles.
Preferred Skills

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional.

Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and integration.
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
