Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering and/or a related field from an accredited university (at least conferred before the start date of September 1 2024) . Candidates at the Assistant Professor level will be considered based on demonstrated potential to enhance the teaching and research capabilities of the MAIE department. Applicants must have demonstrated evidence of leadership skill in interdisciplinary research and collaboration along with the potential to develop (or already developed) an outstanding research program and high-profile publications as well as a successful record of extramural funding.
Preferred Qualifications
The highest consideration will be given to applicants who have expertise in the Biomedical Manufacturing. For instance areas such as biostatistics bioinformatics human factors and ergonomics environmental and occupational health and safety and assistive technologies are welcome.
