About this role
Business description: Fixed Income Product Strategy
BlackRocks Fixed Income team manages more than $3.0 trillion in global fixed income assets across index active alternative and liability driven strategies. The platform offers fixed income investors one of the industrys broadest arrays of investment choices across model-based and fundamental investment styles.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the clients business marketing and other key collaborators to promote and support BlackRocks fixed income products in Japan.
Represent the product and the portfolio manager at review meetings market updates and ad-hoc portfolio-related meetings with assistance from senior strategists.
Demonstrate investment outlooks and market intelligence to key clients in Japan using the global resources of the firm.
Assist in the development of product materials including slides marketing materials RFPs reports and written materials.
Be responsive to client requests and queries including supporting often very complicated and deep due diligence processes.
Support new product developments from idea generation to implementation partnering with a diverse set of collaborators to successfully implement new strategies.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of the asset management industry and capital markets particularly fixed income preferably from a product specialist or portfolio management role.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Japanese.
Experience in understanding the needs of strategic clients.
Good presentation skills and the ability to deliver pertinent facts in a concise way.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly form meaningful working partnerships.
A proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments.
An ambitious approach with the determination to compete and deliver flawless results.
Ability to strictly adhere to deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
