Amazon Global Selling (AGS) has been helping individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers around the globe. Today more than 50% of Amazons total unit sales come from third-party selection. The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazons 18 overseas stores and supporting local sellers success and growth on Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally.
The Role
The Central Product & Program Management Office (PMO) collaborates with AGS business teams and many of Amazons global teams to empower high-growth global selling continuously uncover new opportunities and spearhead new initiatives to drive seller growth and success. We are seeking an innovative leader to drive large-scale solution with strong technical expertise while managing product strategy and customer success for Amazons global selling initiatives. This role combines product management customer solution expertise and technical leadership to deliver impactful solutions for Amazons selling partners and internal stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
Product Strategy & Management
* Define product strategy and roadmap for Global Selling initiatives
* Develop and communicate product requirements
* Work with internal and external technology teams to develop products and resolve issues
* Own product success metrics and continuous improvement
* Manage stakeholder relationships and drive data-driven decision making
Customer Success & Solution Implementation
* Develop and execute launch strategies for new technologies
* Coordinate cross-functional implementation and testing
* Monitor and optimize customer satisfaction and system performance
Technical Leadership & Development
* Lead and manage engineering teams in project scoping planning and delivery of multiple technical product solutions
* Drive technical architecture decisions and implementation of software development life cycle practices
* Collaborate with PMs to evaluate the optimal technical solution
* Lead solution options evaluation and assist with PMs on vendor management
* Oversee coding standards code reviews source control management build processes and testing
* Recruit mentor and develop software engineering talent
* Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions
- 10 years of product development and delivery experience
- 8 years of engineering experience
- 5 years of engineering team management experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Experience with full software development lifecycle
- Experience partnering with product management teams or strong product management background
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Masters degree in technical or business field
- Experience with global markets and e-commerce platforms
- Experience influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights
