The Opportunity
EY MENA Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) is actively looking for Senior Consultants to join our growing practice. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in sustainability consulting and a background in proposal management and content writing.
We are at the forefront of current trends in climate change and sustainability and we engage with clients at all levels to provide insight into these developments. We want candidates who are dedicated and capable of helping us develop our dynamic sustainability practice that is focused on making the difference for our clients as they navigate this agenda.
Roles & Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for delivering high-quality and client-focused proposals and reports across multiple industries within the CCaSS practice while ensuring to meet applicable branding and risk management guidelines. You will be expected to work flexibly to meet client deadlines and EY quality standards.
This role requires a creative mindset in addition to strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Exceptional planning and communication skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage simultaneous tasks in tight timeframes. Pro-active and results-driven people who can think outside the box will flourish in this environment.
To Qualify for the Role you should have the following:
- Graduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline for example environmental science.
- Sound knowledge of the issues surrounding sustainability and their impact on an ever-changing business environment
- Exceptional creative thinking and the ability to create story boards
- Strong research skills and a grasp of technical terms related to the sustainability field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record in report writing
- Good knowledge of MS PowerPoint presentations
- For the openings in Cairo / Jordan / Lebanon proficiency in Arabic language is mandatory
Ideally you will also have :
- Prior experience with Big 4 firms will be a definite plus
- Qualifications in creative writing will be a definite advantage
