With the increasing demand for sleep services our program continues to develop a regional approach within the Saint Alphonsus Health System. The qualified Advanced Practice Provider will show evidence of comprehensive assessment skills expert clinical skills and problem-solving abilities and commit to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care.
Specific duties include but are not limited to the following: conduct follow-up evaluations for patients referred for Sleep consultation; follow-through on physicians plan of care; order & interpret appropriate diagnostic testing and labs; prescribe appropriate treatment and conduct patient education; aid in clinic phone triage and referral triage; assist in prescription refills and general clinic coverage when other providers are not in clinic.
Requirements:
Successful completion of NP or PA Graduate Program (Masters Level)
AANP or ANCC certification for Nurse Practitioners
NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants
Ability to obtain: Idaho and Oregon medical licensure and valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho and Oregon Board of Pharmacy and DEA
2 years experience as a Sleep Medicine Provider preferred
