About the Opportunity:

The University of Montana Foundation (UMF) seeks a dynamic and entrepreneurial Director of Development Strategic Initiatives to build and grow philanthropic support for strategic and emerging institutional priorities. This role is critical to advancing fundraising for UM programs schools and colleges that have strategic projects and initiatives underway.

Reporting to a senior leader on the development team this position serves as a frontline fundraiser and strategic partner to UMF and campus leadership building a portfolio of engaged donors and identifying new opportunities for transformational support. The Director will work closely with assigned campus stakeholders to develop assess and advance well-defined fundraising priorities.

This position is ideal for a self-starting relationship-focused fundraiser who thrives in a dynamic environment and is motivated by building new pipelines and partnerships across a range of programs and initiatives.
