The Job:

As a Product Manager Metalworking Power Tools youll be part of our DEWALT team working as a remote employee. Product Management is responsible for the strategic direction and action of an assigned portfolio. This includes maintenance of existing products throughout their lifecycles as well as ownership of critical elements of relevant NPD product roadmap feature definition validation and commercialization. They partner with cross-functional teams (including Engineering Operations Sales Channel Legal Finance and Category teams) to ensure that all products meet customer and business needs and align back to the overall brand and category strategy. The Product Management collaborates with all supporting functions to design and build products that service the needs of our end-users align with relevant CTQs and strategic initiatives and create a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Youll get to:

• Manage the strategic direction and profitable financial health of an assigned product portfolio.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle process alongside the Product Management team from concept to delivery.
• Assist in leading cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives and serve as the point of contact for support functions.
• Create and update financial models to substantiate NPD.
• Maintain an awareness of trends in the industry and develop a deep understanding of the core end-user their applications and their workflows.
• Assist in the creation of packaging manuals digital & physical collateral and other commercialization materials.
• Conduct market research to substantiate critical decision-making at a product and portfolio level.
• Work closely with Channel partners to understand and influence volume opportunities promotional activities and forecast accuracy.
• Lead commercialization efforts of NPD along support functions including creation of launch material claims testing pricing analysis and training.
• Manage quality and service levels of portfolio alongside Sales and Operations teams.
• Support customer meetings presentations line reviews top-to-tops and relevant trade shows.

The Person:

• BS or BA in Marketing Business Administration Finance Engineering or related field.
• 2 years of Product Management experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively across functions and lead teams must be able to present data and conclusions in an organized manner.
• Experience working directly with retailers or other large customers preferred.
• Consumer products experience preferred
• Travel expectations- traveling into the field to work with end users 2-3 days a month. Traveling to engineering HQ 1-2 a quarter.
