Ourvets Halswell is a well-established small animal practice who pride ourselves on giving great standards of care to both our patients and our clients we enjoy being a active part of our community.

About the role and clinic
We are looking for an experienced Small Animal Vet to join our wonderful team of 5 vets a strong nursing team and dedicated practice manager. Our existing team of vets have nearly 40 years experience between them!
- We encourage career growth and development developing special interests or being fantastically all rounded general practitioners
- Enjoy at least 2 days per week in surgery and dentistry along with a great balance of consults
- This full-time role offers a 4 day week and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
- Our clinic is well equipped complete with ultrasound digital and dental x-ray and in-house lab
- We are the first GP clinic in Christchurch to be offering laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery!
- We have a spacious set up including separate dental suite surgical theatre and prep room.
- OurVets Halswell collaborate closely with our wider OurVets group - with regular meetings and CPD events.
- We are a community focused clinic and enjoy engaging with our local community - we are based in a wonderful growing suburb with great clientele and some lovely local walks/parks close enough for a lunchtime stroll.

- We are looking for a passionate Small Animal Vet with:
- BVSc qualification (or equivalent) and registered or eligibility to register to practice in New Zealand is required.
- 4 years of Small Animal Veterinarian experience comfortable with routine surgery dentistry and consultations
- A special interest and strong competency in dentistry and surgery would be a perfect fit for our team
