Key Responsibilities
System & Server Administration
- Deploy configure and maintain server operating systems and enterprise applications (Windows Server Linux).
- Monitor system performance conduct root cause analysis and resolve issues proactively.
- Administer Microsoft Active Directory and other enterprise services.
- Create and manage home directories and group policies using PowerShell scripting.
- Monitor and manage patch deployment through professional patch management tool.
- Manage disaster recovery procedures.
- Deploy and configure Windows and SQL Server clusters.
- Administer and maintain NetApp SAN storage and SAN switches.
Virtualization & Cloud
- Install configure and manage Hyper-V and VMware virtual environments.
- Support virtual clustering and perform troubleshooting in virtualized systems.
- Assist in the integration and administration of cloud platforms (AWS Azure).
Security & Network
- Ensure system integrity through security best practices and routine monitoring.
- Maintain knowledge of network systems including LAN/WAN and intrusion detection systems.
- Responsible for infrastructure planning and incident resolution
Support & Documentation
- Provide incident support and respond to escalated helpdesk tickets.
- Document system configurations procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate support with external service providers as needed.
- Provide support for ISO SOX and customer audits including documentation and evidence preparation.
Project Work & Collaboration
- Lead and support enterprise-level technology initiatives.
- Plan implement and evaluate server upgrades and system improvements.
- Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willing to travel to remote sites or other regions as needed for on-site system support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 57 years of relevant experience in managing Windows Server OS (2016 and above) Linux servers and enterprise computer systems.
- Proven experience as a Windows System Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory DNS DHCP and scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell).
- Proficient in using backup solutions AD management toolssystem monitoring tools and patch management systems.
- Working knowledge of SAN storage solutions specifically NetApp or EMC.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure).
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience in troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues.
