We are seeking a talented UX professional who can lead UX design and development processes with a strong understanding of business processes and backend systems.

You will take on the role of an Experience Design Strategist in the Digital & Data Enabler Unit where you will drive the design and development of business systems and lead project initiatives with a strong customer (user)-centric mindset within your assigned Squad.


You will have the opportunity to engage in the entire design processcovering research ideation design prototyping development and validationacross all phases of various media (digital offline and services) to create customer engagement models and improve existing services and channels. Additionally you will be involved in change management for all users related to customer engagement.

As the demand for digital customer engagement projects focusing on CX and UX/UI design continues to grow we are seeking an Experience Design specialist with expertise in human-centered design service design and personalized customer experience design leveraging digital and data capabilities. Additionally experience and skills in improving UX/UI for internal users to effectively deliver these enhanced experiences are highly desirable.

The initiatives to engage in will be determined by the assigned squad and/or based on the priorities of projects.

A person with more than 5 years of experience and skills in the below tasks and/or strong motivation to learn is ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirement definition business process formulation and basic design by translating business requirements into system specifications on a project basis engaging with diverse stakeholders and ensuring smooth development and design processes.
  • Define functional and non-functional requirements from both user and business perspectives develop workflows and operational flows to meet these requirements logically design multiple wireframes and screen transition diagrams identify risks and establish scope based on development complexity.
  • Collaborate with global counterparts to localize solutions while understanding global rules and standard processes for system requirements and data specifications and design experiences that are desirable for both customers and users.
  • Create high-quality personalized customer experiences by leveraging digital data and AI.
  • Co-create with internal teams including marketing sales and digital technology to effectively communicate and improve customer experiences.
  • Stay updated on the latest cases and expertise from internal and external sources incorporating them into design processes and services.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Business Process Design and IT Solution Development: Experience in planning and developing IT solutions including requirements definition business process design functional design development and testing. *Mandatory
  • Understanding of business support systems CRM and engineering (regardless of front-end back-end language or framework) *Mandatory
  • System Implementation Project Experience: Proven experience in system implementation projects including designing and executing change management for users. *Mandatory
  • Facilitation Skills: Proficiency in using collaboration and whiteboard tools like Mural or Miro.
  • Those with knowledge and curiosity in the fields of digital technology and AI along with a strong passion for designing valuable customer and user experiences.
  • Human-centered design (HCD) knowledge and experience.
  • Conceptualization Skills: Experience in visualizing hypotheses and concepts through storyboards service concepts screen flows and wireframe designs.
  • Experience Design Skills: Proficiency in creating personas customer and user journeys experience maps service blueprints and roadmaps etc.
  • AI Experience Design: Interest in leveraging generative AI tools for both design and business processes.

    Optional Skills:
  • Visual and UI design skills using Adobe Creative Cloud or Figma.
  • Knowledge and experience in marketing strategies and sales for healthcare professionals on pharmaceutical/ethical products
  • Experience working in an agile environment.

  • Communication Skills: Experience in effective communication and negotiation with internal stakeholders.

  • Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work in cross-functional teams including IT specialists data scientists/analysts sales enablement marketing professionals and global members.
  • Japanese Language Proficiency: Adept at communication document creation and review in Japanese including communication with sales teams.
  • Optional: Business-level English proficiency for both written and verbal communication.
