Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Core Job Responsibilities:

This role focuses on developing division overall market access proposition.

This role is responsible for

1. payer and market access strategy for Drug& Medical Food portfolio

2. analyzing policy insights and build action plans programs new initiatives in terms of payer engagement value-based pricing healthcare projects to identify business opportunities

3. collaborating with GA RA Medical Affairs sales and marketing KA Commercial etc. to achieve company MA goal

Position Accountability/Scope:

1. Lead NRDL strategy building including to organize cross functional taskforce analyze annual NRDL policy understand brand knowledge build pricing scenarios and enable sales marketing and KA to complete key external stakeholder coverage. Eventually achieve company NRDL goal.

2. Lead NEDL strategy building including:

  • NEDL policy analysis and identify the policy insights
  • Co work with brand team to work out the key messages for key stakeholders
  • Build action plans and play the role PMO to ensure the quality of implementation.

3. Drive new initiatives of payer program e.g. understand CHI policy trend cooperate with Association to shape CHI policy build CHI case studies etc.

4. Drive DRG&DIP strategy establish regular taskforce including sales & marketing KA to analyze DRG&DIP impact on business and work out hospital-based strategy to increase opportunities and mitigate the risks.

5. Regional market access project design for engagement of Key provincial stakeholders and regional policy shaping. (OPD local CHI healthcare projects etc.)

6. Horizon Scan: Monitor government and payer policies disseminate business implications call for actions increase our pro-activeness; Update China MA policy trend to global MA pricing and HE teams

7. Government affair liaison: Lead division internal team and coordinate with GA team to conduct the crisis management; Coordinate with corporate GA team to develop and successfully implement cooperation projects/action plans; Coordinate with public affaire team to develop and successfully implement media related events

8. China MND market access capability building.

Education required:

Bachelors degree or above is required and major on pharmacy Health Economics Public Health Medicine is preferred.

MBA / MPA is plus.

Experience/Training required:

1. >10 years MA experience in pharmaceutical medical device nutrition or related industry or payer organization experience as BU MA head is plus

2. Fundamental knowledges about the China health care system and national payer insights etc.

3. Strong cross-functional project management skills. Proven success in leading cross-functional team activities. Manage and influence multiple internal and external stakeholders

4. Strong business acumen strategic and innovative thinking clear logic and analytical skills.

5. Quick learner with passion to work in a fast-paced environment

6. Excellent communication & presentation skills (English and Chinese both oral and written)

7. Bidding management experience is plus
