Job Summary:

The Compliance Administrator ensures the Department of Child Safety Comprehensive Health Plan (DCS CHP) and its administrative services subcontractors are in compliance with Medicaid and child welfare laws related to health care for children in DCS custody; applicable rules and regulations and requirements; and provisions set forth in the Arizona Health Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) and DCS Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) as well as administrative services subcontracts. This position ensures contractual compliance serves as a point of contact for DCS CHP AHCCCS and Administrative Services Subcontractors related to contractual obligations associated with the Comprehensive Health Plan and performs duties related to the CHP Contract Compliance Officer. This position also conducts audits monitors submission of contract deliverables and serves as a point of contact for CHP Compliance.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely within Arizona based upon the departments business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:
  • Coordinate the monitoring review and submission of Contract deliverables field and coordinate responses to AHCCCS and administrative services subcontractors inquiries coordinate the preparation and execution of Contract requirements such as Operational Reviews random and periodic audits and ad hoc visits.
  • Conduct internal oversight and audits of CHP to ensure compliance with contractual requirements between CHP and AHCCCS. Conduct oversight and audits of the health plan subcontractor to ensure compliance with the contract between the subcontractor and DCS CHP. Coordinate Operational Review activities between CHP AHCCCS and the subcontractor.
  • Participate in a Regulatory Compliance Committee involving DCS CHP senior management level staff who are charged with overseeing the Contractors compliance program and its compliance with the requirements of AHCCCS IGA and administrative services subcontracts. Participate in meetings involving other health plan committees to ensure contract oversight activities are occurring and are in alignment with contractual requirements. Participate in CHP Quality Management Committees and sub-contracted delegated authority oversight meetings.
  • Coordinate and administer contract amendments with AHCCCS and administrative services subcontractors.
  • Other duties as assigned as related to the position.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid class-appropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license record checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R.11). Employees may be required to use their own transportation as well as maintain valid motor vehicle insurance and current Arizona vehicle registration. Mileage may be reimbursed if applicable. Must be able to secure and maintain clearance from DCS Central Registry.
