Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week M-F 7:30am-4pm Weekend rotation

Shift Differentials Holiday and Weekend Differentials:Weekend (Fri 10:31 pm - Sun 11:00 pm) $ 1.00

What Youll Do in This Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technicianto join our team at Chelsea Retirement this role youll be responsible for keeping our buildings grounds and equipment in top condition to ensure a safe welcoming and well-maintained environment for our residents their families and our team members. From routine upkeep to timely repairs you will play a vital role in maintaining the comfort and safety of our community. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented customer-focused and committed to meeting all safety and regulatory standards while delivering exceptional service.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment systems and buildings.
  • Perform routine maintenance replacement or repair within the community to include plumbing plaster electrical carpentry mechanical HVAC and other infrastructure.
  • Conduct cleaning and upkeep of HVAC systems plumbing fixtures electrical systems and other infrastructure.
  • Apartment refresh: Paint. Insure all electrical/plumbing is working correctly. Ensure all appliances are working to specs.

What Youll Need:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role preferably in a senior living or residential community setting.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment (HVAC plumbing electrical etc.).
  • Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Position requires a valid unrestricted drivers license.
  • Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
