Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Conceptualization of IT services
a. Gather and analyze technical business and legal/regulatory compliance requirements
b. Design cost-efficient and secure solutions that meet the requirements
2. IT project management. Work with other internal IT staff and our IT suppliers for the completion of our projects.
3. IT service management
a. Incident management
b. Request fulfillment
c. Problem management
d. Change management
e. Release management
f. Continuous improvements
4. Documentation
a. Solutions design
b. Implementationplans
c. Day-to-day operational tasks
i. monitoring and alerting
ii. how to perform common requests
iii. support legal/regulatory compliance especially Data Privacy
d. Cyclical patching and upgrades
e. Write other documentation as may be required
f. Review your peers documentation and suggest or write enhancements
5. Be a people developer. Train less experienced IT staff to take on the day-to-day operations and mold them to become service design engineers
