Were seeking a digitally capable administrator with experience in HR to join our Support Services team based at Habitat House in Te Rapa 20 hours per week $29 per hour including Kiwisaver.
The team takes care of HR communications and marketing health and safety our ReStore charity shops commercial leasing and everything in between that helps Habitat to run smoothly so the housing teams are well supported to make a difference in communities.
In this role youll provide support across all areas reporting to the Support Services Manager. A strong aptitude for digital systems and a can-do attitude and flexibility are critical as youll also provide general administrative support to our small but high performing team and have the opportunity to get involved with projects as they arise.
Key responsibilities:
Administration at all stages of the HR lifecycle including requisition and recruitment onboarding and ensuring watertight compliance
Supporting employees with systems and app training
Drafting employment agreements and employment related correspondence pre-employment verification
Maintaining accurate and confidential employee files
Liaising with payroll on new starters changes end of employment and leave
Health and safety systems admin
Support for volunteer recruitment induction and records
Events support as required
Were looking for someone who has proven experience in coordination or admin of HR preferably with a basic knowledge of employment processes. We need you to be excellent with both administration and technical systems with knowledge of Office 365 and online databases essential as well as strong communication skills.
