Located in the upscale Akasaka area of Tokyo our office is a short walk from Akasaka-Mitsuke Akasaka and Tameikesanno Stations.

About the team

The Delivery Manager works closely with both the Sales and Global Customer Care (GCC) teams as partof the Professional Services team in order to bridge the gap between clients and technology to facilitateimplementations. The role has accountability for managing up to million-dollar client implementationprojects and provides project management support and guidance to a dedicated team of Consultants toensure projects remain on time and on budget. Applies solid technical knowledge combined with clientmanagement skills to ensure successful implementations.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with clients sales teams and product managers to define project objectives scopeand success criteria.
    Develop detailed project plans timelines and resource allocation to ensure project milestonesare met on time and within budget.
  • Conduct project kickoff meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to align expectationsand establish communication channels.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to assign tasks and responsibilities ensuring clearcommunication and accountability.
  • Monitor project progress track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify and mitigaterisks and issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings with clients and internal teams to provide updatesaddress concerns and manage expectations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle fosteringstrong relationships andensuring open and transparent communication.
  • Communicate project status updates and risks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner and escalate issues as needed to senior management for resolution.
  • Document and maintain project documentation including project plans requirements testcases and issue logs to support project governance and compliance.
  • Leverage lessons learned from previous projects to drive continuous improvement andknowledge sharing within the project management team

What we are looking for

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Supply Chain Business or related post-secondaryeducation.
  • 10 - 15 years demonstrated progressive experience in project management and delivery.
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies tools and best practices.
  • Adept at working through the full project life cycle including identifying and defining projectscopes and goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to help build relationships internally andexternally with the ability to influence and negotiate to a desired outcome
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders at various levels with a demonstrated ability tonegotiate and influence
  • Japanese Bilingual with conversational English speaking skills.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
