Job Description
About the Role:
As a General Ledger Accountant you will be responsible for the daily accounting operations of Nu Skin Belgium France and Italy ensuring accuracy and compliance across all entities. You will report directly to the Controller and play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial records.
What youll do:
Monthly Closing
- Ensure an accurate closing and reporting according local and USGAAP (SAP/BPC/BlackLine) respecting financial deadlines
- Responsible of intercompany cross charging to principal entity
- Review and explain actual variances versus budget/forecasts
- Discuss monthly reporting with Controller WCEU
- Responsible for URSSAF (Social Security France)
Daily/weekly function
- Maintain GL reconciliations for respective markets
- Prepare on a weekly basis vendor payment runs
- Prepare and post bank statement on a daily basis
- Check weekly social security statements
Internal Control
- Ensure adequate internal control and compliance with internal audit (SOX-404)
- Prepare on a monthly basis the documentation required by Internal audit via BlackLine
- Involvement in continuous improvement of processes
Ad-hoc Business support
- Be a business support for the Sales and Marketing teams as well as for other departments
- Prepare on time requested information for external consultants external auditors.
Others
- Involvement in local reporting and compliance annual accounts Corporate Income Tax returns surveys and other documentation required by local Authorities and other organizations.
What youll need:
You have an Accounting background strong analytical skills and a minimum of 5 years of relevant GAAP knowledge is a strong plus You are fluent in English. You have experience with SAP and MS Office (strong skills in Excel) You anticipate impacts of workload/issues to meet deadlines You have the ability to handle multiple tasks and manage deadlines You have strong communication skills to understand and support people in the business but also to report to your supervisor You are eager to learn flexible stress resilient and proactive You look constantly for improvements with a hands-on mentality You are able to work in an international environment.French language skills are a strong advantage.
