Role Overview As a Business Analyst with Project Management experience you will play a key role in both shaping the business requirements and driving the successful delivery of initiatives. You will be involved throughout the full lifecycle of creating solutions for our internal customersfrom assessing the complexity of business needs to conducting business analysis and writing functional specifications that cover all components of the product end to end. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and document requirements while facilitating agile delivery processes. For assigned initiatives you will manage project timeline and ensure high-quality outcomes aligned with strategic goals. This role reports directly to the Head of Software Development within the IT Department however it operates within a matrix structure requiring close alignment and collaboration with the Program Management Department to ensure strategic and operational coherence across initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Identify and refine business requirements; create clear and detailed technical specifications and user stories.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of core product functionalities features and industry trends.
Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders development teams and cross-functional project members.
Lead project planning execution and delivery across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Define and track project milestones manage risks and proactively resolve issues and blockers.
Conduct impact analysis and dependency mapping to support informed decision-making.
Drive stakeholder alignment and ensure transparency throughout the delivery process.
Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
Requirements:
3 years of relevant experience in business analysis and/or project management.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle agile frameworks and project delivery best practices.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical organizational and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Excellent command of English.
Nice to have:
Experience in insurance industry or other financial sectors.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and other project tracking tools.
Business analysis or project management certifications (e.g. ECBA PMI-PBA PMP PRINCE2).
Experience in budget management and vendor coordination.
