Physical Therapist PRN

Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art 59-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness.

Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke brain injury neurological conditions trauma spinal cord injury amputation and orthopedic injury.

Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital strives to maximize the health function and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.

Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital is proud to hold Joint Commission Certification with specialty Stroke and Brain Injury Certification and programs. Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital is also CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) Certified holding quality and outcomes to the highest degree.

How youll contribute:

APhysical Therapist who excels in this role:

  • Put your physical therapy skills to work where theyre really needed -evaluate a patients condition develop a treatment plan and help them get better day by day. Youll also instruct the nursing staff and the patients families on follow-through programs that build on the progress theyve made

  • Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records

  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory licensing payer and accrediting requirements

  • Instruct patients family or nursing staff in follow-through programs

  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition

  • Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Companys Code of Business Conduct the Corporate Compliance Agreement appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and requirements

  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program

  • Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered

  • Current CPR certification

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
