Job Description

As a Front-End Central Quality Assurance (FECTQA) Engineer at Micron Technology Inc. VA you will support product containment risk assessment and disposition of fab deviated material through extensive collaboration with process and product engineering quality engineering and other fab support groups. You will also work with multiple quality and product engineering groups across Micron to support the transfer and qualification of new products into the VA fabrication facility.

  • Notify and communicate with GQ engineers and probe production on actions needed to release Quality and Reliability Assurance (QRA) material holds at probe.
  • Use data analysis tools to extract data analyze holds for SBL recommend and execute disposition.
  • Work closely with fab partners to identify contain non-conforming wafers (unplanned deviations) and assess risk to outgoing quality of product wafers.
  • Lead and/or support global projects to deploy and improve Quality systems and business processes.
  • Support new Micron facilities in ID1 Boise with central QA systems setup
  • Drive and implement new SBL (Statistical Bin Limit)/PAT (Part Average Testing) Strategies to ensure highest quality outgoing.
  • Develop QA dashboards and/or automated reports using R/Python/Tableau.
  • Develop machine learning models with interactive web API dashboards and also predict wafer/die level quality prior to electrical testing and customer shipments
  • Automate product dispositions and risk assessment quality reports

Requirements:

Masters Degree in Electrical Materials Science & Microelectronics Engineering or Bachelors Degree and relevant semiconductor manufacturing or testing experience.

Must have coursework in semiconductor device physics and/or fabrication.

Good understanding of CMOS reliability failure models and basic understanding of DRAM or FLASH memory components reliability.

Basic coursework or understanding in statistics probability theory and machine learning.

Good oral and verbal communication skills and ability to innovate and collaborate in a team environment.

Good skills in using Python for Data Analysis Visualization and Machine Learning.

Preferred some skills in developing Web APIs to deploy Machine Learning models.
