Hourly Pay Range:

$57.69 - $75.77 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidates expertise and years of experience among other factors.

Job Description:

Exciting opportunity to join our endocrinology team at Edward Hospital. This position will primarily be focused on care of the diabetic patient. This is an out-patient position with potential occasional in-patient coverage. Under the direction of a physician provides endocrinology care to patients. Obtains detailed history and performs physical examinations orders imaging lab tests and diagnostic procedures and interprets results. Instructs patients on the prescribed therapeutic regimen. Maintains records and writes progress notes on status treatments and procedures. Collaborates with physicians and the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Develops a comprehensive plan of care that includes interventions and treatments. Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as appropriate. Demonstrates evidence-based practice. Participates in the development implementation and evaluation of standards of practice in the specialty. Provides staff education as indicated. Assesses the learning needs of patients and families across the continuum. Employs strategies interventions and teaching to promote maintain and improve health. Participates in the development implementation and evaluation of service line goals. Supports the strategic plan of the organization. Adheres to all Endeavor Health policies and procedures.

What you will need:

  • PAs NCCPA certification required.
  • APRN certification.
  • Experience in endocrinology or primary care is preferred but new grads are welcome to apply.
  • Current IL license.
  • CPR certification..
