Were looking for a DataOps Manager to lead our Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering teams. This role sits at the heart of our Operations organization ensuring our data platform is secure reliable scalable and cost-efficient.
Youll own the full ELT / ETL lifecycle lead the Azure-to-BigQuery migration and build systems that transform raw data into trusted accessible and business-ready assets. The role requires a strong operations mindset with a focus on process reliability performance security cost control and clear accountability.
Youll also play a vital role in defining business logic promoting documentation best practices and acting as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders enabling data products that are trustworthy well-understood and impactful.
Lead and mentor a team ofData Engineers and Analytics Engineers
Drive the fullELT / ETL process including ingestion (Airbyte) transformation (dbt) and orchestration (Orchestra)
Lead themigration from Azure to BigQuery ensuring stability and scalability throughout
Maintain a strong focus ondata quality governance lineage and security
Monitor and optimizedata platform performance and cost-efficiency
Define and implementclear versioned and documented business logic
Collaborate closely withProduct Engineering Analyticsto unlock value from data
Support and structuretracking instrumentationandevent data modeling(Amplitude Segment etc.)
Prepare data forAI and ML applicationsin collaboration with cross-functional teams
Championexcellent documentation and observability practices
Act as a connector betweentechnical implementation and business context helping teams understand how data flows what it means and how to use it responsibly
Help shape hiring career development and ways of working within the DataOps team
Proven experienceleading DataOps Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering teams
Deep hands-on experience withdata pipelinesorchestrationwarehousing andELT architectures
Strong technical skills withBigQueryAirbyteOrchestra anddbt
Experience withAzure Data Stackand migrating to modern cloud data platforms
Strongoperations mindset you think in terms of stability SLAs monitoring and process excellence
Track record of defining and maintainingclear business rules and transformation logic
Passion fordocumentationand building reproducible transparent data systems
Excellentcommunication skills able to speak both the language of engineers and business stakeholders
Background inSaaS or product-led environmentsis a big plus
Familiarity withtracking frameworksandproduct analytics data(Amplitude Segment etc.) is a plus.
Experience supporting AI and ML data readiness and excitement for AI-powered use cases
Nice to have:
Experience withdata observability and testing frameworks(e.g. Great Expectations dbt tests Monte Carlo)
Familiarity withdata governance privacy regulations and consent data flows
Prior exposure todata democratizationand building self-serve data environments
Experience working with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI Metabase Looker)
