Job Description
For the plant based in Goor we are recruiting a Plant Accountant
The Plant Accountant for Etex Business Services - Finance (EBS) is supporting the two plants based in Delfzijl and in this role you will be responsible for collecting and processing/analysing financial data in order to report monthly/annual financial addition you also will be responsible for the overall balance sheet and managing any risk items. You will work closely with the finance manager and business controller and report to the Regional Head of Etex Business Services - Finance who is based in the UK.
The function:
- Drive the period end closing (month and year end);
- Perform month to month analysis during the closing in order to check integrity consistency and reasonableness of the accounts balances;
- Operate full accounting of Holding companies if applicable (all activities end to end process);
- Ensuring statutory reporting of legal entities IFRS/GAAP compliance;
- Supporting rolling forecast & annual target setting processes;
- Administrative cost control;
- Safeguarding Tax Compliance (Income and VAT);
- Drive pre/after closing meetings;
- Prepare and deliver requested information to external auditors based on core finance and ensure strong collaboration;
- Support Management reporting;
- Balance sheet management including the monitoring of assets and liabilities;
- Securing internal controls and risk management;
- Support Treasury activities (hedging capital structure follow-up and warnings);
- Support mergers & acquisitions Transfer pricing.
The Successful Applicant:
- Bachelor or a university degree;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience preferably in Accounting;
- Experience with IFRS & Dutch GAAP
- Fluent in Dutch and English (written and oral) any other language is an asset;
- Strong Customer-service focus pragmatic & result-driven;
- Innovative approach to continuous improvement - ability to drive change;
- Collaborative team spirit amongst different cultures strong communication skills towards a variety of stakeholders.
Salaryrate:
The salaryrate is betweenon a fulltime base. They have their own collective agreement and you will have 25 vacation days 12 ADV days
