You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Professional Education Manager reports directly to the Customer Training Manager for their region and serves as a cross-functional collaborator with sales marketing and engineering teams. The main function of this role is to develop and deliver impactful training programs for surgical roboticsacross various surgical specialties. This role also contributes to the continuous improvement and innovation of customer training programs to enhance surgeon education and adoption of surgical robotic technology.
Program Development & Leadership
Lead one or more clinical verticals to develop surgeon-led training programs.
Identify and onboard high-volume users and opinion leaders as Teacher KOLs.
Coach Teacher KOLs and provide feedback on course delivery and execution.
Collaborate with marketing on course planning and KOL partnerships.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Work with commercial counterparts to strategize and drive adoption within clinical verticals.
Forecast and plan appropriate course mixes using data analysis.
Coordinate with internal teams for national training event logistics.
Training Delivery & Support
Conduct technology training for surgical teams residents and fellows.
Attend society events to build relationships and support training outreach.
Provide technical training and occasional in-hospital surgical robotic system support.
Program Improvement & Evaluation
Evaluate and improve training programs using feedback and performance metrics.
Explore and assess alternate training modalities.
Collaborate creatively and flexibly with Customer Training teams.
Reporting & Analytics
Create and analyze reports via and Tableau to identify trends.
Competency Development
Gain and apply deep knowledge in:
System technology and applications
Operating Room (OR) efficiency
Training pathways and coaching methodologies
Clinical knowledge specific to assigned vertical
Experience
6 years total experience with at least 3 years in training or professional education
Experience in medical devices or clinical environments preferred
Education
Bachelors degree required; preferred fields: Clinical or Health Sciences Healthcare Management Engineering Business Administration Communications or Education
Skills
High capacity for problem-solving and independent operation
Strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent Japanese and Business Level English
