A Day in the Life:
Installs repairs and removes various instruments and their component parts in an efficient manner with respect to safety quality and sanitation. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Production
Position Details:
- Compensation: $43.25 per hour
- Schedule: This role requires flexibility to work various shifts including 8 10 or 12 hour schedules which will include off-shifts and weekends
- On-Call Availability: Require to participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide coverage as needed

What Youll Be Doing:
- Install troubleshoot and repair mechanical hydraulic pneumatic automated and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to PLCs numeral controls power supplies drives gauges and test equipment
- Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles writing specifications local and national electrical codes properties of various materials and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment
- Conducts electrical planning preventative maintenance and programming for process logic control systems (PLCs) platforms instrumentation and human-machine interfaces (HMI)
- Installs repairs and calibrates electronic to pneumatic converters or pneumatic to electronic converters or a combination of both
- Repairs electronic equipment instruments such as ultrasonic radar and other conventional level controls
- Repairs electronic equipment instruments such as photo eyes proximity controls and associated equipment and controls
- Repairs and calibrates temperature sensing instruments with capillary and bulb instruments with thermocouple and electric output and resistive temperature detectors (RTDs)
- Be prepared to work a flexible 8 10 or 12 hour schedule that will include off shifts and weekends.
- Works on-call status as required based on rotating schedule
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology Industrial Technology or Journeyman Instrument Maintenance/Electrical Technician (Preferred)
- 2-3 years of equivalent experience programming troubleshooting and repairing PLCs (Siemens PCS7/WinnCC Rockwell/Allen Bradley) and distributive control systems.
- High degree of precision working with minimum tolerances required
- Experience in AutoCAD (Preferred)
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration (Preferred)
- AS-i/Profibus networks (Preferred)
- Comprehension of electrical schematics blue prints and P&ID drawings.
- Experienced in different brands of variable frequency drives
- Experienced with maintenance set-up and calibration of all types of process instrumentation
- Teamwork able to work with people in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitments to goals and objectives.
