You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge St Toronto) and/or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineering (QE) Lead with strong automation experience to lead testing initiatives for enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing test strategies building automation frameworks and leading QE teams in Agile environments.
Lead QE efforts to ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Analyze testing scope and develop accurate work estimates.
Design comprehensive test approaches strategies and plans aligned with business requirements and user stories.
Manage test cases and plans using JIRA and plugins such as X-ray or Zephyr.
Architect and build robust automated testing frameworks using data-driven keyword-driven hybrid or BDD approaches.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QE team members.
Report on test progress quality metrics and risks to stakeholders.
Minimum 10 years of experience in test automation and 4 years of experience in QE leadership.
Strong hands-on experience with tools such as Selenium TestNG Cucumber Maven and IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA.
Proficient in Java programming for test automation.
Experience with JIRA Confluence Bitbucket/Git for test management and collaboration.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Wealth Management or Banking domain experience is a strong advantage.
