Job Description

A Research Fellow position is available in the Centre for Integrated Circuits and Systems School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering Nanyang Technological University Singapore.

Job Description:

  • Support the research for the project titled:Terahertz Transmitter and Receiver Antennas for Wireless Communications. The project investigates the On-chip Hybrid Electronic and Photonics Transceiver design for high data-rate wireless communication at the sub-THz band. The CMOS/SiGe technologies will be used for the design of electronic circuits

  • Work on the design and characterization of sub-THz electronic circuits (Oscillators Mixers)

  • Work closely with the Photonics team for hybrid integration of photonics devices

Job Requirements:

  • PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and related study area

  • Strong background in RFIC components design (mmWave will be advantageous)

  • Good Experienced in EDA tools (Cadence ADS) and EM modelling tools (HFSS CST)

  • RF characterization measurements

  • Able to make active IC design of phased array antenna systems and on chip antenna including fabrication and characterization measurement

  • Capable and broad experience in:

(i) Active circuit design

(ii) Work in group

(iii) Post-fabrication measurement
