Job Description
Position Overview
At Kuros Biosciences we are committed to ensuring the reliability safety and compliance of our production facilities. As a Maintenance Technician you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our equipment and systems across cleanrooms and laboratories.
Youll be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance performing calibrations and troubleshooting technical issuesall to keep our operations running smoothly. Youll collaborate closely with colleagues from Production QA and Engineering.
This position can only be performed onsite it has no hybride or remote solution as you have to actively work on our equipment on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
Your work will be diverse and hands-on combining routine tasks with problem-solving challenges. For example you will:
- Execute preventive maintenance based on established schedules and procedures
- Supervise and coordinate external vendors performing maintenance and calibration activities
- Conduct equipment inspections and operational tests
- Perform first-line troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution of technical issues
- Support annual maintenance operations for production facilities
- Report deviations and risks and propose improvements to prevent future issues
- In addition youll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in an on-call schedule for facility and equipment emergencies.
What You Bring
Youre a detail-oriented technician with a strong sense of responsibility and a hands-on mindset. Ideally you have:
- A completed MBO Level 3 or 4 technical degree (e.g. Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics)
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a regulated environment (such as GMP or ISO) preferably in pharma biotech medical devices or cosmetics
- Familiarity with GMP regulations validation processes and technical documentation
- Experience with technical drawings and maintenance software
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
- You are a safety-conscious team player who communicates clearly and works systematically according to procedures.
