Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications and/ or experience

Candidates must have at the latest date of application:

Hold a third level professional qualification at Level 8 (or higher) on the National Framework of Qualifications maintained by Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI) or equivalent in a health related area.

And

Have significant healthcare experience at a senior level operating within a complex large scale multi stakeholder environment and delivering on agreed service outcomes.

And

Demonstrate evidence of ongoing professional development.

And

Have significant experience and proven track record in the development and implementation of strategic plans and national clinical care programme agendas.

And

Have a track record of delivering significant change in a complex multi stakeholder environment as relevant to this role.

And

Have experience of designing reports datasets dashboards and reporting tools in line with the HSE Performance and Accountability Framework (PEPA) and as relevant to role.

And

Have experience in managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders and a proven ability to collaborate and work effectively to ensure effective service delivery.

And

Have experience in leading and managing a team.

And

Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.

Health

A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.

Character

Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character

A proven ability to lead develop manage and deliver effective programmes of work both through themselves and through others
