Job Description
The Medical Innovation unit at Augusta Health is a 32 bed medical-surgical unit. Nurses on this unit care for adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems. The patient population includes renal pulmonary infectious disease GI issues hospice and more. As a RN on our unit you will be accountable for the coordination of direct patient care education and serve as the leader of the patient care team. You will obtain a strong knowledge base and feel competent to provide care in diverse and flexible settings. Requirements
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Minimum of one year of RN experience in an acute care setting required
- BLS certification required
- Positive attitude with enthusiasm for caring for our community
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management skills
