The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a critical role in our sales process by proactively identifying and qualifying potential leads ensuring our sales team focuses on the most promising opportunities within the market. This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual passionate about understanding customer needs and helping our company grow.
A highlight of your day-to day will include:
Lead Qualification/Prospecting:
Utilize online tools to identify and engage high-potential leads for the market.
Respond promptly to inbound inquiries from potential customers in the market such as website forms emails and phone calls.
Gather essential information from the potential customer about leads including project plans & specifications timelines budgets and decision-making processes.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads and interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Continuously enrich lead data to ensure we comprehensively understand our target market.
Customer Engagement:
Provide information about Jensen precast concrete posts their benefits and how they meet their specific needs of the agriculture industry.
Educate potential customers on industry trends and best practices for utilization of prestressed concrete posts.
Lead Nurturing:
Develop and execute lead nurturing strategies to move leads through the sales funnel including follow-up emails calls and targeted content.
Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services to qualified leads.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align lead generation and qualification efforts with overall sales goals.
Provide feedback on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and suggest improvements to enhance lead quality.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Youre a proactive and results-driven individual. You are eager to learn the intricacies of the market including itschallenges and trends. With excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approachyou are adept at engaging potential customers educating them about our products and qualifying leads effectively. Other attributes include but are not limited to:
- Bachelors degree in business marketing engineering or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in sales development lead qualification or customer-facing roles is a plus.
- Knowledge of the agriculture industry including its challenges trends and key players is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential customers.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
- Self-motivated proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willing to travel up to 10% annually.
