Job Description
Position: BIM Modeler
Reports to: Director VDC
Location: Columbus Ohio
Pay Range: $25 - $35 per hour (Eligible for Overtime)
We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.
Superior is looking for a highly-motivated and organized BIM/VDC Modeler to join our fast-paced team. This position will be responsible for preparing 3D models of new and existing electrical systems within commercial buildings. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 3D models of electrical building systems in Revit
- Prepare 3D Navisworks models used for BIM coordination
- Run clash detection reports resolve clashes and participate in the BIM coordination process
- Prepare installation and prefabrication drawings
- Build Revit families Prefab assemblies and contribute to BIM standards
- Follow established standards for modeling and production of drawings

- Youre organized great at prioritization and have a strong attention to detail
- Youre a great communicator a team player and ready to work with colleagues across our jobsites and organization
- You have the ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and the willingness to learn new processes
- Youre able to exercise confidentiality and discretion at all times when dealing with sensitive data and information
Your Expertise
- Required: You have at least 3 years of experience in 3D BIM/VDC modeling using Revit
- Bonus Points: You have experience with Autodesk Navisworks Software
- Bonus Points: You have Construction/MEP background
- Bonus Points: You have Electrical BIM/VDC modeling experience
