Job DescriptionAs the Process Engineer you will be working onsite as a part of the corporate Supply Chain team supporting our regional distribution center. Youll act as a subject matter expert to identify process improvements. You will prioritize improvement items based on complexity investment and impact. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders and support teams to execute process improvements including developing defining configuration validating and maintaining engineered labor standards. Youll collaborate with our vendor partners on business planning performance management and decision support. This role requires strong business and financial acumen.
What youll do- Analyze and improve warehouse processes and workflows to enhance throughput reduce costs and improve service levels.
- Provide recommendations to create or improve operational policies procedures or systems.
- Lead engineering projects from conception to implementation including automation upgrades layout redesigns and systems integrations.
- Use data-driven approaches to model facility operations forecast capacity and simulateprocess changes.
- Work closely with operations IT procurement transportation and logistics teams to alignengineering solutions with business goals.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety regulations industry standards and company policies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to support staff.
Basic qualifications- Bachelors degree in Industrial Systems Mechanical Engineering DataScience or related field
- 4 years in supply chain engineering roles involving process improvement layout optimizationand or material handling equipment automation
- 4 years of working with engineered labor standards in a high-volume facility.
- 4 years in Lean Six Sigma and conducting time studies.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- 2 years of with AutoCAD WMS and data analytics platforms.
Preferred qualifications- 2 years Experience with warehouse automation (e.g. conveyors AS/RS robotics)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
