Stryker is hiring a Microbiologist in Weston Florida to support Joint Replacement! In this role you will support efforts to ensure the safety and sterility of medical devices contributing directly to patient health and regulatory compliance!
What You Will Do:
Support changes to medical devices currently on the market related to sterility.
Contribute to the coordination and documentation of cleaning validations adoptions or testing plans for reusable instrumentation.
Assist in preparing technical documents reports and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Ensure all documentation complies with internal standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Review technical documentation to support international registration.
Write technical and scientific documentation.
Contribute to sterility assessments by reviewing test data and related documentation.
Support departmental and cross-functional initiatives aimed at driving continuous quality improvement.
Support and collaborate with cross functional teams including (RA AO Ops) to ensure business unit project timelines are met.
Collaborate with others by supporting the development maintenance and improvements of the policies and procedures related to sterility.
Participate in root cause analysis problem solving and out-of-specification investigations.
What you need:
Required:
BS in Microbiology/Chemistry/Biomedical or related discipline.
0 years related experience medical device or pharmaceutical.
Preferred:
Strong self-motivation and able to take initiative!
MS in Microbiology/Chemistry/Biomedical or related discipline is a plus!
Knowledge of Ethylene oxide steam or gamma sterilization modalitiesis a plus!
An effective communicator and can prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive solution-focused mindset.
Demonstrated ability to write technical documentation and successfully complete projects.
