Overview
American Colloid Company a Minerals Technologies Inc. (ACC/MTI) is a resource- and technology-based company that develops produces and markets worldwide a broad range of specialty mineral mineral-based and synthetic mineral products and related systems and services throughout the world.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for aPackaging Operatorat ourColony WYlocation.
ThePackaging Operatorrequires the individual to be safety minded and strive to be an example in areas of safety 5S and quality. Operators package multiple SKUs from the plant in a safe and efficient manner. Operators are also responsible for loading the correct product from the silos and performing quality checks.
Responsibilities
Position Details:
- Package Multiple SKUs
- Drive Forklifts
- Place empty ware on the lines
- Throw bags and pails
*This is considered a safety sensitive position therefore will be subject to random drug testing as required.
Qualifications
Education:High School Diploma or GED required
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Able to meet deadlines
- Operation of forklift truck
- Self-Motivated
- Bend Twist Pull and lift objects up to 50lbs
- Work Safely
- Work as a team
- Communication Skills
- Dependable
- Be able to multi-task
- Ability to speak read write and understand English.
Travel:
- Very Little to None
Working Conditions:
- Shift work in fast paced dusty environment
Work Hours:
- 8-12 hour work days 5-6 days a week
