Job Description

My client is expanding and seeks a Computational Biology Associate to take on the following tasks:

Design and execute computational analyses of NGS and microscopy experiments.
Partner with experimental and computational scientists and help develop and implement new experimental and analytical workflows.
Assist in the lab work including sample preparation microscopy and NGS library preparation.
Help scientists with workflow and analysis code for quantitative single molecule localization microscopy.
Collaborate with scientists in refining the analytical pipeline for sequencing T-cells and B-cells.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

BS/MS in Computer Science Math or similar and ideally hands-on NGS lab experience.
Strong knowledge of scientific fundamentals and immunoassays.
Data analysis and coding skills including Matlab R and Python.
Ability to learn and follow standard laboratory techniques and safety precautions.
Solid communication skills coupled with excellent organizational planning and time management skills.
Attention to detail and ability to execute experiments following SOPs.
