Job Description
Job role: SAP Functional Expert - Group reporting
Duration: 6 Months CTH
Location: It will be hybrid with 3 days a week in the office (Bridgewater NJ)
- Seeking an SAP Functional Expert with deep hands-on experience in S/4HANA Group Reporting including intercompany eliminations consolidation of investments and integration with SAP FI/CO.
- Must have strong collaboration documentation and stakeholder communication skills to align financial consolidation processes across global entities.
- Prefer candidates with SAP certifications knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP and familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud Central Finance integration
The SAP Functional Expert Group Reporting will be responsible for designing configuring and supporting the SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting (Consolidation) module as part of a multi-year global ERP transformation program. This role will ensure alignment of financial consolidation processes across global entities supporting real-time compliant and transparent financial close and reporting activities. The position requires deep expertise in group reporting intercompany eliminations consolidation of investments and integration with SAP Core Finance (FI/CO) along with strong collaboration and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design configure and test the SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting module in line with business requirements and global standards.
Work with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to define consolidation rules intercompany elimination logic and ownership structures.
Ensure alignment of Group Reporting with the global chart of accounts and legal entity structure.
Coordinate with SAP FI/CO teams to ensure accurate data integration and mapping from source ledgers to consolidation views.
Support planning and execution of test cycles (unit integration UAT) and documentation of results.
Collaborate with Master Data Security and Reporting teams to ensure completeness and control.
Provide post-go-live support and lead knowledge transfer and training for end-users.
Support audit and compliance efforts related to group reporting and legal consolidation processes.
Required Qualifications
8 years of SAP Finance experience including at least 2 full-cycle implementations of Group Reporting or SAP BPC/EC-CS.
Hands-on configuration experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting module.
Understanding of IFRS/local GAAP consolidation principles intercompany eliminations currency translation and ownership structures.
Experience working with SAP Fiori apps and standard reporting features in Group Reporting.
Strong documentation presentation and business process mapping skills.
Ability to collaborate across global teams and communicate with Finance and IT stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP Central Finance or integration with legacy ledgers.
SAP S/4HANA certification in Group Reporting or Financial Accounting.
Background in accounting finance or audit (CPA or equivalent a plus).
Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for Group Reporting integration.
