Job Description
JOB TITLE: Conformal Coating Technician
LOCATION: Oldsmar FL
PAY RATE: Up to $25/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: Mon Thurs 5:00 AM 3:30 PM EST with OT available on weekends

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Read and interpret prints labeling diagrams and mixing ratios
-
Operate various dispensing and coating machines to meet customer specifications
-
Mask/tape circuit boards to protect areas from conformal coating or potting
-
Inspect assemblies to ensure proper coating coverage and high-quality finishes
-
Maintain coating and dispensing machines including changing fluids mixers and cleaning
-
Remove excess coating and perform manual touch-ups as needed
-
Transport racks of circuit boards to continue the manufacturing process
-
Replenish chemicals solvents compounds and process fluids as required
-
Prepare and apply potting bonding coating compounds lubricants spray coats or insulated tape to components and assemblies

Encapsulate discrete assemblies

Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe clean work environment

Advance or retrieve product material and tools in-house or from local suppliers

Complete applicable Specific Function Training courses

Perform additional tasks as assigned to accommodate production requirements
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Knowledge of materials used in manufacturing and coating processes
-
Must be able to read and write English
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
