Job Description
Job Title: Power BI Analyst (need previous exp with Texas gov)
Location: Hybrid - (90% may be required to meet on-site in Austin TX at times.) (Local To Austin)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Mandatory Qualifications:- Mastery in data analytics with proven ability to create complex reports.
- Proficient in using Power BI to design dashboards and interactive visual reports.
- Skilled in creating testing and deploying Power BI scripts (Python M and DAX) and executing deep data analysis.
- Previous experience working with Texas state agencies.
- Prior experience in data-related tasks.
- Experience with Source Control tools such as Git/BitBucket.
- Familiarity with SAS and its datasets (.sas7bdat).
- Experience with Jira for project tracking.
- Exposure to additional BI tools such as SAP and Tableau.
- Develop maintain and optimize data analytics solutions to support business operations and decision-making.
- Design build and manage interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Write and maintain efficient Power BI scripts using Python M and DAX.
- Conduct deep data analysis to identify trends patterns and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including Texas state agencies to gather requirements and deliver impactful data solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy integrity and security while managing multiple data sources.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives leveraging advanced BI tools and methodologies.
